Tracy and Tokyo robot cafes, main let me feel the two clips, first of all, the visual and design to show our society and life, second, visual may cause some limitations, may also make a person feel boring, so you need to combine visual and interaction, it can be experimental, also can be in real life can be achieved, the third point, to let the audience and interactive design, mobilize the audience’s emotions, therefore, at the time of design, whether it’s interactive, or pure visual sex, should consider to make the audience feel the change in the mood.
Convey the mood of the designer or the work of design, which can be humorous or uncomfortable.
After watching the two clips, in addition to make me feel in the design process need to pay attention to some details, I also found that whether Tracy enumerate some of the subjects (black mattress matter), or a robot cafe in Tokyo (to help the disabled solve the problem of work), they will focus more on the marginalized people, through the design to help people know the edge of vulnerable groups, this makes me think of before see a word, is designed to solve the problems in the society, the design is rational, also with humanistic care. Both visual pictures show, the marginalised and to help them to solve practical problems in design, compared with pure text reports, people will more easily attracted by these visual things, directly impact the visual aspect sometimes may break through their traditional ideas, leave deep impression（but feel more to visual images, such as Tracy doing visual editors, the design of the robot is more like to use the most direct way to solve the problem quickly).
And in the end, what Tracy said actually let me deep impression, is not associated with specific design details, but is associated with the designer’s mind, she said don’t think every day can create content ground-breaking visual story, I think before abreakthrough visual story, pay attention to every day life, observe and record the life and our society, is more important.
